@ the Greenville Barnes & Nobles book fair for G. R.
Whitfield School!
All store customers on
Dec. 3 & 4th will be asked if they want the proceeds of
their purchases to benefit G. R. Whitfield school. From
6-8pm each night, parents and students are invited to
view student artwork on display in the "gallery" in the
Greenville Barnes and Nobles store. In addition,
students in grades K-2 who come out will perform a song
and Christmas poetry readings with Mrs. Elks on Dec.
4th.
All students who come
out either of the nights will receive a HW pass!
With our recent budget
shortfalls, this is a great way to help our school raise
funds for book!
General
Information
The Media
Center is the hub of student learning. We have 23 computers
available for student use. We also have a wireless lab
with 20 laptops for classroom checkout. Students can use our
online databases in addition to other Internet based
sources. All students and staff are given email accounts.
Our online catalog can be accessed from school or home.
Our
library is staffed by a full-time media coordinator and one
part-time media assistant. In addition, middle school
students are selected and trained to learn and work in the
library as well.
