H. B. Sugg Elementary School is committed

to providing our students with a strong, educational foundation

so that they may become productive, contributing, literate

members of our community.

 

Our Philosophy

 

At H. B. Sugg Elementary School:

 

¨ We advocate a flexible curriculum striving to give students every opportunity to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.

¨ We strive to develop an awareness in each child of his potential and to provide each child with the basic skills needed to assume a democratically responsible and fulfilling place in our changing society.

¨ Our program is a continuous process through which we strive to meet the individual needs of the child, foster creativity, and promote greater understanding of his/her environment.

¨ The faculty of H. B. Sugg Elementary School, in cooperation with parents and community members, strive to achieve our mission above.
