Student Government

Third through fifth grade students interested in serving as SGA officers and classroom representatives are elected each November.
Students in the SGA work as liaisons between faculty and students by speaking with students in their classes,
broadcasting school news reports, sharing ideas for school projects, and assisting in fundraising activities.

Only fifth graders were eligible to run for President and Vice President, while fourth graders could run for Secretary and Treasurer.
Candidates wrote applications and submitted nomination forms filled out by responsible adults other than their own parents or guardians. A
fter approval from our administrators and the SGA faculty sponsors, students campaign for one week prior to the elections.
Candidates created and displayed posters in the hallways and talked with fellow students.
Campaign speeches must be approved by the SGA sponsors and be presented one day prior to the elections.

VOTER REGISTRATION
Third through fifth grade students who wish to vote for officers and representatives must to register to vote! 
Students are required to print their first and last names, complete home address including zip code, and sign their names in cursive.
