    The faculty and administration of South Central High School believe that each student should be afforded a rigorous curriculum, enriched educational experiences, and the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities.

    We expect students to understand the faculty and administration's role in their development, recognizing that our aim is to motivate them to set realistic goals and to achieve them.  The faculty interacts in a spirit of flexibility recognizing that in our ever-changing society goals emerge as a result of community and school input, specialized tests, and educational research.  As a result, our methods, materials, and programs reflect realistic attempts to provide quality instruction.

    Further, we believe that it is our responsibility to continue the annual assessment and updating of our curriculum so that our offerings are consistent with the changing needs of our students now and one that will serve their needs in later life.
