The block schedule allows the possibility of some students completing graduation requirements in January of the senior year. If you are a junior and plan to finish early, pick up an application in Student Services for Early Graduation.

COLLEGE PLANNING

Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are usually available in the Student Services Dept. in December. They cannot be completed before Jan. 1. Consideration for any type of financial assistance to help with the cost of college, you will need to complete it. Applications completed and mailed by mid-February will offer timely consideration for most sources of aid. Applications for financial aid (FAFSAs) will be available in the Student Services Department beginning in January each year.

If your school requires a Profile for financial aid you can pick it up in Student Services now.

Student Financial Aid for North Carolinians: a booklet that lists numerous sources of financial assistance. You may borrow this book in Student Services where only one copy is available. Or you may view it at http://www.ncseaa.edu.
