Text Box: Elmhurst opened its doors in 1955. Mrs. Helen Wolff was the first principal. She currently resides near Greensboro. She still calls and writes to check on our school. Elmhurst’s school colors are blue and gold. Our school mascot is the bear. The Elmhurst Song Rah!, Rah, Rah, Rah! for dear old Elmhurst! We love her colors gold and blue. We love our teachers and our classmates, And all the many things we do. We love to work and play together; And to her name we will be true.
