Text Box: Third graders will be working hard to memorize their multiplication facts during this 3rd nine weeks. We're going to learn to "love those facts." Parents can help by using flash cards. Another idea is to call out facts while driving to an activity after school or while washing dishes, etc. Time will have to be spent working outside of the classroom in order to memorize the facts and to keep them memorized. This is of utmost importance for success in fourth grade. Thanks for your help.

5th Grade News

The fifth graders attended a play at the ECU Kennedy Center this month.  The children really enjoyed the play and found it very educational.  We are still busy learning all concepts related to the EOG .  We encourage parents to review all assignments with their children daily.  Math practice is encouraged and needed to ensure that the children retain the skills as we move forward introducing new objectives.  Remember that these skills build on each other.  Thank you for everything that you do for the children.
