Revised Tardy Policy

January 24, 2008

Dear Students and Families,

With the beginning of the second semester, we are now at the midpoint of the school year. This point serves as a time of reflection on the first 90 days, as well as an opportunity to prepare for the remainder of the school year. As part of that process, the Planning Leadership Team and school administrators have revised the tardy policy. It is essential for students to be in class for learning to take place. Therefore, after school detention has been added as a consequence prior to students receiving in school or out of school suspension. Please review the tardy policy with your child and assist us in encouraging him/her to report to class promptly.

Thank you,

Administrative Team

A.G. Cox Middle School
